Peanut Butter Cup Brownies with Peanut Butter Frosting

giving you all the easy version ;) (using boxed brownie mix)

Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

• prepare brownie batter following directions on box (if I’m using boxed brownie mix instead of homemade, I go for dark chocolate brownies)
• fill cupcake papers with brownie mix 1/3 of the way
• place unwrapped Reese’s PB cup in middle of batter
• cover PB cup w/ batter (the cupcake paper should be 3/4 full max)
• bake according to brownie directions
• let cool completely before applying frosting

Peanut Butter Frosting

Ingredients

• 1 C creamy peanut butter
• 3 T unsalted butter (room temperature)
• 2/3 C confectioners’ sugar

Instructions

• beat peanut butter and butter together using electric mixer
• slowly add confectioners’ sugar
• frost away!
• note: this frosting also works really well with whoopie pies!
